Let's take a moment for die hard Michael Myers fans to get it out of their system – yes, Michael Myers isn't the villain of Halloween III: Season of the Witch. In fact, he's only seen relatively briefly on TV during a moment of early meta as our main character watches a commercial for the first Halloween.
Was it a cheat that Halloween III skipped out on more Michael Myers mayhem? Well, it certainly was annoying that the advertising didn't let audiences know that little fact in the teasers and trailers. And a great many fans are still pissed about that to this very day. Pay no mind that it was always the intention to transform Halloween into an anthology series – an idea that still seems rich with potential.
