There's only two kinds of people in this world: sick, video game playing reprobates (like IGN’s own, He Only Does Everything Colin Moriarty) who delight in the senseless slaughter of innocent, sentient plush animals; and sick, video game playing reprobates like me, who find it appalling, but do it anyway for the points. Regardless of which camp you place yourself in, you'll likely agree that Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is a poorly produced product.
This second outing for the franchise proves, yet again, that a novel concept can only carry you so far when your craftsmanship is so shoddy. Panic in Paradise draws influence from a broad spectrum of great games such as Hitman and Metal Gear, but its terrible execution and complete lack of self-awareness dash any hopes it might have had at becoming the cult hit it strives to be.
