After appearing in a couple of scenes in the season premiere and then sitting out the second episode completely, Andrea and Michonne took the spotlight this week. And their journey took the show in a completely different and intriguing direction, as we met The Governor and traveled to the town of Woodbury.
The opening moments in “Walk with Me” were off-kilter for this series in a cool way – Who were these soldiers in this helicopter? When were these soldiers? Were we in a flashback to the beginning of the outbreak? Were these men working for The Governor? It turned out neither was the case, as they were a totally independent group – in an episode that gave us more than one look at ways people were surviving in this world beyond the group we’d been following.
